On Oct. 27 and 28, 2025, Zhao Gang, Vice President of BFSU, visited CIM, and held talks  with Reinhard Pöllath, Founder and Sponsor of Stiftung ex oriente and Chairman of the CIM Board.  During the visit, Vice President Zhao Gang and Mr. Jakob Pöllath, Founder of Stiftung ex oriente  and CIM Board member, signed the renewal agreement among CIEF, BFSU, and Stiftung ex oriente  on the cooperation of the Confucius Institute. They also signed an agreement between BFSU and  CIM on the joint establishment of a center for overseas internship. Yu Yingjie, a member of the  Standing Committee of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and secretary of the Education  Work Committee of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, witnessed the signing and attended  the unveiling ceremony for the BFSU Munich Center for Overseas Internship. Zhai Zheng, Acting  Director of the BFSU Office of Confucius Institutes, accompanied the visit.
